This two piece jacket was inspired by functional army clothing. I experimented with various fabrics, including mesh, silk inserts and transparent elements to create unique pockets on both the pants and jacket. I‘ve always loved insertable jackets and wanted to reinterpret them with my own aesthetic. Not only is it a two-in one design, it also adds to the functionality of the jacket and is easily adaptable to weather circumstances.
The design features silk fabric inserts, overlapping layer pockets with elastic cord closure, color with insertable hood, and the option to attach a quilting jacket for added warmth.
